Welcome to the 17th edition of the Canadian Scrapper's Blog Carnival. Submissions were slow coming in, and there weren't a lot, but I did manage to put together a pretty full trip just the same.
Once again we're going to start our trip on the west coast.
Our first stop is to visit with Izzy in British Columbia as she shows us "My Designs and..." she also tells some exciting news.
Before we leave British Columbia we'll pop in for a visit with Lois as she shares a beautiful heritage mini album she made as a Tribute to Nana.
Next we'll cross the border into Alberta where we'll stop in for a first time visit with Heather as she shows us a neat digital layout she created which tells the story of The Frightful Adventures of a Wayward Grasshopper.
Before we leave Alberta we'll pop in to the Scrapbookers Club House and check out their Technique Tidbit Thursday - Journaling featuring some tips and tricks for gathering and safeguarding your journaling ideas by Alison K. MacDonald.
After that we'll cross the border into Saskatchewan and stop in to visit Connie as she tells us About Craft Critique, a blog that provides "unsolicited opinions on the subject of craft".
Crossing the border into Manitoba our next stop is to visit with Vanessa as she shares some recent layouts she create featuring Sunrise's, Babies & Buggies!.
Our next stop is in Ontario where we'll visit with Jennifer as she shows us "My first digital...", a digital page she made using what looks like a very neat site.
Crossing the border into Quebec we'll stop in to visit Lisanne as she shares a puzzle piece she decorated as part of a Defi Accroche-coeur sur Scrapbook Estrie. I love that idea!
After that we'll move into New Brunswick where we'll pop in on Kristine as she excitedly tells us that the Store is Set up!
Before leaving New Brunswick we'll check in with Noella at Creatively Yours, where - Ali, her PR person, says "Just had to share the latest of an incredible series of sketches for layouts by Noella. Here's Sketch # 19 - 12" x 12", a 12x12" sketch guaranteed to help get the creative ideas flowing. Have fun interpreting it and remember to leave a comment on the blog with a link to your layout. We'd love to see it!"
Next we're off to Nova Scotia to visit with Ali as she shows us a fun layout which showcases some of her son's artwork and explains the meaning of "Besaur" in the journaling.
Unfortunately we still don't have any invitations to visit in Prince Edward Island. I'm sure there are scrappin' bloggin' people there, I just wish we could find them!
Our last stop is in Newfoundland and Labrador where we'll visit with Deanne as she shares a great tutorial on Making Butterflies using Flowers!
And that brings us to the end of this trip across the country visiting with scrappers along the way. I hope you enjoyed the trip. Thanks to those of you that allowed us to visit, and thanks to those of you that came along for the trip. Don't forget to thank the hosts by taking the time to leave a comment on their blogs.
If all goes well the next edition of the carnival will be posted August 21st. Be sure to send in your submission before then, and the earlier the better.
Hope to hear from you all soon!
