Welcome to the 14th Edition of the Canadian Scrapbookers Blog Carnival! We have invitations to visit in five of our provinces this time around. Let's get started!
Starting on the west cost we'll stop in for a visit with Lois in British Columbia as she shows us a beautiful layout she made to honor her mother. The journaling on this is amazing as she tell her mother "I've Been Thinking About You". She also shares a Fridge Magnet Mini project from Dragonfly Scrapbooking.
Next we'll pop in to visit Chris in Alberta as she explains how she made a gorgeous card for her niece to congratulate her on her New Home (I'm so proud of this card!)
While still in Alberta we'll drop by for a visit at Scrapbookers Clubhouse as Ali says, "Hi Everyone!! Here is a wonderful idea from designer Elisha Drewery who is a talented scrapbooker at Scrapbooker's Club House, a very active Forum and scrapbooking store. In Scrappin' Green: Tips for Eco Friendly Memory Keeping - 8th Edition, Elisha shows us how we can repurpose Ribbon Spoolies in order to create something beautiful."
Skipping over the next three provinces, as we didn't get any invitations to visit in them this trip, our next stop is in Quebec.
We'll pop in for a first time visit with Nathalie in Quebec as she shows us Une petite vite faite, a gorgeous layout, using lots of strips of paper, that show how much her little one enjoys the tub.
As we didn't get any invitations to visit in the next two provinces we'll skip right by them to get to our next stop which is in Nova Scotia.
In Nova Scotia we'll drop in to Ali's place as she says "We Made It! I created this LO because our story needed to be shared, if only to make others aware of what the parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder [ASD] endure trying to access critically necessary therapy and help for their children. This is part of our story as parents to Noah, a child with ASD, who is now 6 years old. In view of what's been in the news this week, this is probably a timely post. Please absorb and "enjoy" what I've written, and feel free to comment. I welcome your thoughts. Thanks so much for popping by, I LOVE visitors!!"
We'll finish this trip at my house in Newfoundland while I tell you about the Scrappin' Fun! I've been having lately and that I'm planning to have this weekend.
And that brings us to the end of this week's trip across our country as we visited with scrappers along the way. Thank you to those of you that took the time to invite us to visit. I hope you will invite us again. Thanks also to each of you that came along for the trip. Make sure you take a moment to let our hosts know that you appreciated the invitation to visit with them by leaving a comment on their blogs.
If all goes well the next edition of the blog will be posted on July 31 with the deadline for submissions being July 30. I will not be posting a separate call for submissions or a suggested topic. Send in submissions on whatever topic you like, new or old.
Hope to hear from many of you soon!
